Jaclyn & Brendan - Pink Beach Club - Bermuda Wedding

Jaclyn and Brendan are basing their marriage on solid advice from a musical great. Their first dance song was "Steady As We Go" by the Dave Matthews Band and the couple love the words in the song and believe they are the key to a successful marriage. And so the pair started off their married lives surrounded by 24 of their closest family and friends who were not only there to celebrate on the day, but who will also be there to help this couple remain steady as they go in the years ahead.

Jackie's and her maids' dresses were found at BCBG and her jewelry was Vera Wang. Hair and make up was done by Vernon Gerstner of Strands.

Petals designed the vibrant gerbera bouquets, boutonnieres and reception arrangements.

Jackie and Brendan came to Bermuda on holiday last year and fell in love with the beauty of the island and the friendliness of the people. They chose the Pink Beach Club because of its private beaches and quaint, laid back feel.

Christopher Darrell of Darylmac Enterprises Corp performed the violin solo in typical elegant fashion.

Brendan was twinkly and nervous and excited - I have such a cool job that I can be a witness to such intense moments in peoples' lives - I am so lucky!

Jaclyn's eternity ring with delicate diamonds in a pave set platinum band and Brendan's titanium band were both found at Jared Jewelers.

These rows of oleander were so simple but really added to the setting. They are found on the sides of the roads all over the island - the trees are literally weighed down by the weight of the blooms there are so many - heaven and make such a pretty aisle for a beach wedding.

Brendan surprised Jaclyn last Christmas with an early present wrapped and waiting for her on the sofa. When she opened, she found a beautiful ornament so she asked her beloved where on the tree did he think it would look best. Brendan pointed to the perfect spot and as she went to hang the gift, she saw already hanging from a branch in the tree a different sort of ornament. It was an fabulous princess cut diamond in a pave set platinum band from Bailey, Banks and Biddle. At that moment that Jaclyn noticed the ring, Brendan slipped down onto one knee and proposed.

The cake was created by the chef at Pink Beach and were beautifully adorned with much pink being Jaclyn's favourite colour - love love love gerberas - such happy flowers.

Jaclyn and Brendan - I loved sharing your special day with you and think you are such a fun couple - congratulations and may much happiness befall you both in the years to come. xxx
